Finally finish my Ghazghkull model. God I hated it. Everything had to be pinned which was one big pain in the ass. Also lost one of the bullhorns so had to go driving into the bits box looking for a replacement. I also move the arms up to give the model a more aggressive orky look. Now all I have to do is paint.

Yes I can say with great pride that I came last in the club kill team competition. I only played two games due to having the flu. I did get a bottle of wash as a prize for it. Till next time then.

Happy birthday to me. That right another year has pasted by and boy did I get a great surprise today as my Ultaforge dragon came. I had placed the order in with Gameingdragon.com on Tuesday morning thinking that I was going to have it come till Friday! So now I have be working on it gluing and using greenstuff to fill in the gaps. Hope to have it undercoated and painted up by the end of next week.

Last night I played my first game of Warhammer Fantasy under the new rules and I loved it. With less but bigger units with more attacks this game runs faster then ever before. It is now Rocket Hammer. My dwarfs warriors get so many attacks it not funny with any unit 10 men across getting the hoard rule meaning they all get to attack!

The other new thing is the new allies rules. I can now run my Dwarfs and Bretonnians together as one. They complement one another. Each having what the other lacks. One has magic users and knights. The other cannon and hard hitting warriors.This means I have an army with some of the best infantry with cavalry support in the game.

Been up late last night in pain due to my back so I got around to building my new Deff Dread. All the arms are held by magnets so I can change the arms for weapons if needed. Like 5 attacks at strength 10 is not fun : )

How 2 piss off your friends? Well one friend is green with envy as I got the new Valkyrie on Friday afternoon.Almost a whole day before Gamesworkshop will sell them. Big thanks to Scrapedragon.com. Just have to say a big thanks to the guys at Warpuppy.com for my new U.N.A bunker which come in the post today. The roof is a little darker then the rest of the building but that can be fixed with a coat of paint. Now can't wait to use it in a game of 40k.

Apocalypse Now

Had some friends over for a Apocalypse game last week. Got to use the new Stompa as well as the my new (Got it the day before the game) Forge World Ork Warboss on a jet powered bike! Well I lost one to two but it was a fun game with the Stompa taking a lot of fire and blowing up leaving a 18 inch hole. The other funny thing was the two of the three 10 inches makers for Rok 'Em Boyz landed on the table. Would have been more fun if I had not lose my Deff Dead. I also let my friends one of my drop pods. It came drop on the forth turn only to have my Ork Nobs on bikes with the new Warboss along with what was left of the Mob who I had in the Stompa take care of them. Can't wait till the next one

Been working on my Stompa for the last week. This means Junior as been put to one side. I also have a Stormlord still in the box. So here a few photos of my Stompa. It's an Evil eye in the sky stompa.The platform is for the deffchoppas to launch form also moved the big guns so one is in the head and the other is mounted in the body of the thing. End of Year Big Apocalypse Game

Well we at my local club Area 37 went out in a big way for 2008 by have a big game day on Tuesday the 30th. I spent five hours playing an Apocalypse with my friends Ben Alistair and Reg. Sadly Me and Reg lost the game. You think with a Warhound Titan, two Baneblades and a number of Land Raiders Terminus Ultra along with a Marauder bomb and an Valkyrie and Vulture you think we should have won. Dam you Ben and your daemons. Next time I am bringing an Inquisitor!
